Your Information, and What We Do With It

This policy applies to this website, including our instant roof estimator, and to information you give us by phone, text, or email. "We," "us," and "Shoreline" mean Shoreline Roofing & Restoration, LLC.

Information you give us. Your name, phone number, and email address; your property address or ZIP code; details about your home and roof that you enter in our estimator or contact form (such as square footage, number of stories, whether there is a garage, roof age, and whether there is damage); anything you type into a message box; and whether you agreed to be contacted, along with when you agreed.

Information collected automatically. Like nearly every website, our hosting provider records basic technical information in server logs, including your IP address, browser type, and which pages you visited. We also record which steps of the estimator were viewed or completed, so we can tell where the tool is confusing. That step-tracking is not tied to your name.

What we do not collect. We never ask for your Social Security number, bank account, or card details on this site. If you apply for financing, that application happens with the lender, not with us.

We do not sell or rent your information to anyone. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. In particular, your agreement to receive calls or texts is never shared with or sold to anyone else for marketing purposes.

This site runs no advertising pixels, no third-party analytics, no session recording, and no chat widgets. There are no advertising or tracking cookies. The only cookie we set is a login cookie for our own staff on the private side of this site, and it is never set for visitors.

To calculate your estimate and show you the result; to contact you about your request and schedule a free inspection; to prepare written estimates, proposals, and completion paperwork; to document storm damage for an insurance claim if you ask us to; to keep records of work we have performed; and to fix problems and improve this site.

Service providers that operate this site on our behalf: our website host, our database provider, and our email delivery provider. They may only use your information to provide those services to us.

A financing partner, only if you choose to apply for financing. Applying is your decision, and the lender handles your application under its own privacy policy.

Your insurance company or its adjuster, only for claim work and only at your direction, such as when we give you or your carrier an inspection report you asked for.

When the law requires it, or to protect our legal rights, or in connection with a sale or transfer of the business.

If you check the consent box on one of our forms, you are asking us to contact you about your request by phone and text, including by automated means. Consent is never a condition of buying anything from us. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to any text to stop texts, or HELP for help. To stop calls or emails, tell whoever you are speaking with, or email or call us using the details below. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

If you become a customer, we keep your project records for the length of the project and any warranty period that follows, plus the time we are required to keep business and tax records. If you asked for an estimate and did not hire us, we keep your inquiry only as long as it is useful for following up. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.

Information you submit travels to us over an encrypted connection. Our records are stored with access limited to the people who need it to do the work. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we do not keep what we do not need.

You can ask us to show you what we have about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can withdraw your consent to be contacted at any time. Just email admin@shorelineroofr.com or call (910) 444-9614. If you live in a state that gives you additional privacy rights, contact us and we will honor them.

This site is meant for homeowners and property decision-makers. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

If we change this policy we will update the effective date above. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
